Each and every instance of our life and daily events teach us something or the other life lessons. I hope you agree with me! I believe the moment we make mistake, we immediately seek the help of others and sort it. So, my opinion here is it's better to ask for help. But it is best if you learn to help yourself for the most part. Imagine if the same habit continues, then how deep and wide the treasure of your knowledge grows. Let us all be the better version every day.
I know, I am no one to tell you to learn, learn and learn. Life is the process of both unlearning and learning. There is no age for this process. Firstly, learn to accept the fact that there are things that are unknown to you. Learning from others irrespective of age, caste, creed, race, region, physical appearance, qualification, etc. is not a bad thing. In fact, it's you learning something. In the end, it's not your loss, it's you who wins. Whatever you know must be new to others, and vice versa. So, let us not be critical and try to be more empathetic.
I pity those who pretend to know everything and are perfect. Wherein, they end up being "laughing stock". The level of hypocrisy you show fooling others is clearly visible to the one who you seem to think you are fooling.
It's not necessarily true that everything that comes out of your mouth is right just because you are elder or well experienced. The experience of every human is extremely different from others. People who are wise enough would definitely learn not to be 'The foolish' you. Though the opposite person is way younger than you or way less educated than you.
There is a way to impart your knowledge and experience without ridiculing or mocking the one who is ready to learn.
Some people in our life teach us without even them realizing that they are teaching. Because these people spread just positivity, everything they say is a lesson. Though you realize it immediately or later.
A moment of epiphany teaches you a lot more than anyone. There is a teacher in everyone and in everything.
